Warrawong Lodge was purpose-built as a Bed and Breakfast in 2012. It is situated on a hillslope north of Cairns, enabling spectacular views of the Coral Sea, Double Island, Scout’s Hat, and Green Island in the distance. Visitors are gobsmacked by the view.
The guest rooms all open to the verandah, and all have a view of the Coral Sea. The guest rooms are spacious, have 2 queen beds, full ensuite bathroom facilities. Additionally they have air conditioning, ceiling fans, free to air TV and free wireless internet access. The rooms are cleaned daily. Bed linens and towels are changed every four days, but will be changed more frequently upon request.
A continental breakfast is included. Guests can enjoy their breakfast on the verandah next to the pool.
A spacious guest lounge room has a 55 inch LED TV, with access to cable channels (Foxtel). Books and board games stored in the bookshelves are for guest use.
The Warrawong Lodge pool and spa have an infinity edge, with full views of the Coral Sea, Double Island and Scouts Hat. The pool is a Mineral Water Pool System with solar heating. The pool at its deepest point is 2 meters deep. The pool also holds about 63,000 liters of water. The pool and spa took about 6 months to build. The pool and spa were awarded 1st place for the Queensland free-form pools in 2013.
